Manitoba Book Week

a celebration of our flourishing book industry and an
opportunity to educate Manitobans on the rich variety of books
that are published here in Manitoba. The Association of Manitoba
Book Publishers represents 15 Manitoba based publishing houses,
who produce a huge variety of quality material. In addition to
literary fiction, drama, poetry, biography and histories, we
have nature, travel, leisure, educational materials, children’s
stories and how-to books.
Preschool Storytime - Thursdays 10:45 am - 11:30 am
Storytime for Preschoolers and children entering Kindergarten in the Fall.
Reading...The Building
Blocks of every child's future!

Thursday mornings 10:45 am – 11:30 am (during our regularly planned Story Time) pre-schoolers
and children entering Kindergarten in the fall are encouraged to come with an
adult to hear a story and get a snack.
Parents or grandparents or babysitters
who bring youngsters to Storytime can enjoy a visit, while a
dedicated library volunteer reads to the children! After stories and a
snack, the children enjoy choosing books and videos to take home for more
reading pleasure!
